Six concrete promises — and what makes them possible.
⚙️
Always working at the right level
Never too easy, never too hard: the Tesseract engine adjusts the difficulty question after question, tracking what your child already masters and what they are currently learning.
🌱
Learning without fear of mistakes
A wrong answer never costs coins or lives. It triggers an explanation, and the topic comes back later, just before it would have been forgotten.
📊
Every week, you know where they stand
The weekly report tells you what is mastered, what still needs practice, and gives one concrete tip for the week. Sent by email if you turn it on.
🤖
Never stuck
A companion offers help on request, at the key moments, or step by step. Three levels, which you set according to how independent your child is.
🏆
Short sessions — and they come back tomorrow
XP, levels, streaks, badges, chests and collectible cards: ten questions a day, and the urge to start again.
🔒
Nothing to distract them
No advertising, no third-party trackers, no links to the outside. A closed space, hosted in the European Union, where there is nothing to do but maths.
16 labs to explore every area of maths
From numbers to algebra, every lab offers age-adapted activities with server-side validation.
Three design choices you can check for yourself — and won’t find everywhere.
🧮
From mental maths to written working
When the numbers get bigger, children set the sum out and fill the grid column by column, with a box to note the carry. The companion explains borrows and partial products when a child gets stuck; division is practised as quotient and remainder.
🎂
Five age ranges, from 5-6 to 13-14
The profile age is a ceiling the server enforces: a topic never arrives before the age at which it is taught at school.
🛡️
Marked on the server, never in the browser
The right answer is not sent to the screen until the child has submitted theirs. There is nothing to find in the page source.

3
Day 15 — the first charge
The displayed price is charged, unless you cancelled beforehand. We email you 3 days in advance. Cancel during the trial and nothing is charged: your account simply returns to the free plan.
🔁Automatic renewal
Yes. The subscription renews month after month, or year after year depending on the cycle you chose, until you stop it.
✋Cancelling
One click from the parent space, no fee and no notice period. You keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for, then the account returns to the free plan — your child’s progress is kept.
🌍The same price in every country
Prices are in euros and vary neither by country nor by currency. The amount charged is exactly the one displayed, with nothing added. A card outside the euro area may incur conversion fees from your own bank.
🎁Why the yearly plan costs less
Premium: €49.99 a year instead of €59.88 (12 × €4.99), which is €9.89 less — close to two months free. Family: €89.99 instead of €107.88, which is €17.89 less. Same service, same cancellation.
The Smallprof story
Not an anonymous startup: one dad, two child testers and a legendary calculator.
🧮
It all starts with Texas Instruments' Little Professor, the little calculator-game that made a whole generation love arithmetic. Smallprof is its heir: the same simple joy, with today's intelligence.

Smallprof is built by an engineer dad in France. Every new feature is tested the very same evening by his two children — if they lose interest, we redo it.

Smallprof is designed for children aged 5 to 14. The adaptive engine automatically calibrates the level based on age and performance.

Yes, Smallprof is optimised for tablets and smartphones. The touch keypad and haptic feedback are designed for small fingers.
Smallprof uses an adaptive engine based on precise pedagogical rules, per-skill tracking and spaced repetition. It is not a language model: no child data is sent to a third-party artificial intelligence model.
Let us be honest: Smallprof opens to the public in November 2026. We have no measured results on thousands of children yet, and we will not invent numbers. What we can say: the method rests on three well-established findings from learning research — spaced repetition (reviewing a topic just before it is forgotten), retrieval practice (recalling it yourself rather than re-reading) and working at the right level of difficulty, neither too easy nor too hard. And above all, you do not have to take our word for it: the free plan never ends and asks for no credit card, and the parent area shows you, week after week, the skills your child has actually acquired. Judge it on your own child.
The subscription starts and the displayed price is charged to the card on file, then renews automatically every month or every year depending on the cycle you chose. We email you 3 days before that first charge. You can cancel at any time from the parent space, in one click: cancel during the trial and nothing is charged; cancel later and you keep access until the end of the period already paid for, after which your account returns to the free plan without losing your child’s progress.
